School of Rock

School of Rock Naperville is so great on so many levels. Instructors are top notch and really really care about their students. They meet them at their current skill level but encourage and teach to help them grow and develop along the way. They create such an awesome, team-oriented atmosphere where instructors and band-mates alike are each other’s biggest fans and live out immense support and encouragement for one another. If you’re looking for a great music-learning experience, I would totally recommend SOR. An awesome experience.

Every Tuesday our child is so excited to go to his class, and when he leaves class he is always very excited to tell us about what they did. The School of Rock programs do a wonderful job of teaching kids how to play music while also teaching them about being part of a team. The benefits of teaching music in a group/band setting go far beyond just learning music. It provides kids with a community of other like minded individuals to learn and be creative with, increasing the engagement and building relationships among peers. The teamwork and group work skills learned in these programs will prove to be incredibly beneficial to the students for the rest of their lives, whether it is in the music or business world.

My kids have been at SOR Naperville for several years now. Both have different personalities (extravert vs introvert) and the SOR Naperville team and instructors are absolutely AMAZING with both of them. Instructors are experienced in different learning styles and truly get to know all of the students personally and are invested in their growth and development. They know how to engage and challenge the students in a fun way. My daughter would be there every day if she could and my son (the more introverted one) started off slowly but now cannot wait to try new things (the camps are GREAT for this) and comes out of every single lesson (group and private) stating that it was "EPIC" The other kids are helpful and encouraging - they never hesitate to cheer each other or comfort each other when someone may not be feeling 100% about their performance. I know this is long, but I have to also share this as I feel it is important. SOR Naperville is a positive place for our kids. From the manager, office staff, incredibly dedicated and talented instructors to the other families and fellow students. They make everyone feel welcome and safe to be themselves. Not every kid is a sports kid and at regular school, the arts are not always as embraced. Here, they want to see the kid’s creativity, hear their ideas, collaborate and embrace each other’s unique style. I would recommend SOR Naperville without hesitation to any family considering enrolling and am grateful my kids are part of this community.

School of Rock (Naperville) has been nothing short of an awesome experience. They create an inclusive, collaborative, and music-loving environment in every way. Would highly highly recommend.

School of Rock has been a great experience for my daughter. She has learned to play great music and perform on stage with a band. Best of all, she has made new friends and has had a lot of fun. The performances are always fantastic and enjoyable for friends and family. I cannot recommend School of Rock Naperville highly enough!
